Why Cuernavaca?

Cuernavaca is the capital of the state of Morelos in central Mexico, popularly known as the "City of Eternal Spring" due to its pleasantly warm climate year-round, with rainy season from June to October. It is located approximately 75 kilometers (50 miles) from Mexico City, and is easily accessible from the capital via a comfortable four-line highway surrounded by great natural beauty.

Long a favorite spot for vacations or weekend getaways by Mexico City residents, Cuernavaca is a city of luxurious homes with lush lawns and pools, with upscale dining, shopping and hotels. This is nothing new: Mexicans have been coming to this area since the time of the Aztecs.
